Ship a version

1. Build and check

   Quality reads the candidate and never rebuilds it.

   npx specistry build
   npx specistry check

2. Write the changelog

   When earlier releases exist, the build writes structured diff candidates. Disposition each one in changelog/<version>.json with added, changed, deprecated, removed or fixed items.

3. Release

   --current selects it after promotion. --from sets the comparison base; --no-diff skips comparison and the changelog.

   npx specistry release v2 --current --label "2.0" --date 2026-09-05

4. Roll back or deprecate

   Rollback only moves the current pointer. A retained release is never rewritten.

   npx specistry current v1
   npx specistry deprecate v1

npx specistry diff --from v1 --to v2
npx specistry check --version v2 --from v1
